Well Im ready to go! Will be going up to London in the morning then travelling up to Norfolk on the Sunday morning.Had contemplated taking the bait gear in case the weather is poor but dont know if I really want to leave gear in the car if Im not using it.

As its a "Wobblethon" then I think I will stick to just the one method.(Im bound to regret this when it starts peeing down!)

See you all Sunday morning.

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

Norfolkfisher - after about 5pm today I won't be near a computer until after the weekend, so if you're still coming and I haven't heard from you today, just turn up at either the Wissey or Relief Channel and start fishing. You're bound to bump into another wobbly ANer as the day goes on, and they can let you know where the meeting place is for later. Hope that's OK :)

Budgie, I'll have a load of gear with me (I'm fishing Saturday and overnight too) so if you want to borrow anything just ask.

Well I'm glad this weekend has arrived. It's a luxury to be able to dedicate a whole weekend to fishing. My preparations are as usual in chaos, having left bits of tackle in various places but nevermind.

I'm going to fish the Upper Little Ouse during Saturday day, shamelessly try and poach Anderoos Zander on Saturday night then have a wander on Sunday. It's going to be good to get out and about, I spend a lot of my time only 40 miles from the Fens but have hardly ever fished the area..

I don't know if anybody else has had this inkling but a mild spell at the end of February after a cold spell could mean that the Pike may have other things on their minds than chomping baits. I guess if true, it also means theres a chance of a real lump albeit a delicate one.

Anderoo, I'll give you a buzz tomorrow afternoon if thats still ok..

Yep, no probs, looking forward to it! As for the chaos, I can relate to that - as usual it's all left to the last minute, but that should be OK, I'm planning to make up some new traces and generally get things in order while I'm fishing tomorrow. That's if the pike, tench and bream aren't keeping me too busy...

Any volunteers to fish with WayneX2 please?

If not, Wayne, come along with me and Will, and we'll be a spread-out three, or if you or Will would rather go off alone that's fine :)

After a certain age, if you don't wake up aching in every joint, you are probably dead.
