Bass biomass at a record high in ICES VIId and e .... but mostly all in the immature 20 - 36cm bracket!

The 'dopey sod' from Essex is now calling for a 15cm MLS.

Can you enlighten us on the 15 mls please H A. Everyone knows that the bass stock issue will not go away. Mr shaw made a point of stating that 'it's being fished on a sustainable basis' when he made his infamous decision not to increase the size class of the bass for everyone's benifit. That was based on science dated back in 04 by the way. Unfortunatly as you are now pointing out the biomass appears to be getting younger and younger with what you have posted, so it would be interesting to see what you have regarding the need to target the sardine sized 15cm half plate ones.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Sorry, Barry, he and I do not sing from the same sheet.

Amongst his other ideas are banning matches from the shore, using 3/0s and larger only from beaches .... and he goes a tad further .....

" Look at the enviromental damage done by anglers keep driving to our beaches."

".... if the Golden Mile becomes a reality, a fishing ban on beaches should quickly follow in my mind."

"Apart from banning beach angling totaly due to the Health & Safety of other beach users and the rubbish and filth these beach chuckers leave behind I would suggest a ban at least sooner rather than later on beach matches."

"You have to admit that if they banned ALL shore fishing, it would save a lot of problems and arguments.......It is probably the way forward.

"there maybe should be a CUT in the mls for a set period to avoid some of these discards."

I really don't want to provoke him into paying this forum a visit.

Think of him as a 'Mike Bassett, England Manager' type of character, with a touch of Machiavellian The Prince thrown in for good measure.

;)
