Red hooks with red maggots is probably for angler confidence. In one meter of water the color red becomes grey in the light spectrum.

 

Don't misunderstand me. One of the most important aspects of a good angler is self confidence.

I would probably go for either a bit of light lure fishing in shady spots or I would get the maggot feeder out on the river.

Today's pretty much the same as yesterday so i'd go trotting for chub....same as yesterday . It was cold stood in the river though!
