Winter, use the Graemlins on your postings, you will find that it helps lots.....I may be down your way in the summer for a few days, I could use a Ghillie, if you are up for it .... :D

I might even bring you some whites down... :D

With you, A ghillie shows an angler who doesnt know the area where to fish and with what and when, i.e. bowing to superior knowledge on your own patch... :D

You sea anglers are a bunch of wimps anyhow. You wanna try some real hardcore angling, like lounging on a bedchair in a bivvy, jeez it's tough!

where abouts are you coming to and when?????????. Fishings pretty quiet here in summer. Plenty of makeral though. cod usually arrive sept to oct.

Down to Skipsea area, Skirlington caravan site I think,sometime in July, Its my mates van, but I've got a car, so can travel anywhere, hey, know any good carboots while I'm there... :rolleyes:

thats near brid i think.50 mile from here. I here the beaches ther are good for bass and thornback ray, also skate. but youll need someone more local for better info.

 

Filey brigg isnt bad for mackeral, pollock and codling, july is a very good time to try there. Scarborough marine drive also good for codling on a bigg ebbing tide @ the coffee pot corner.

 

There is a good car boot just south of scarborough near the lebberston and filey turnoff.

Magic,Yes, its near Brid, been there a few times, fished a few comps too. Did nothing ay any of them .If I get down this Summer I'll let you know, and mebbes come up to your neck of the woods, that is if theres any petrol to be had.... :D:rolleyes::D
