Instead of bringing a box of tackle each and cluttering up the boat, how about I bring a box (maybe two) to cover us all -

Everyone then only need bring rods/reels and perhaps some scissors/clippers and a few other bits/bieces that fit in a pocket.

let me know if there's anything particular you want me to bring along.

Rob - can you ket me know if there is anything in particular we need to bring.

Not much response to this guys. The less clutter we have on board for the week, the better, so I will definitely bring a bucket of leads and a tackle box with;

• various made up traces, including some heavy mono traces for Tope and a couple of Shark traces

• Mackerel feathers/flasher rigs, mini rigs for launce etc

• Hooks, including the Owner hooks in various sizes that , Rob recommends for Bass/Turbot etc as well as the usual patterns

• Trace lines, including Fluro

• Box with plenty of clips/swivels/booms, as well as beads, elastic etc

I will also bring some wire wrecking booms, leadheads, Storm Shads and a box of shads/artificial eels/twin tails etc for wrecking on the way home. I’ll also throw in a spare spool of 20lb and 30lb mono and a couple of spools of braid (donations will be welcome, especially if you use the braid). Now does anyone really need to bring much else, apart from rods/reels and a few bits and pieces that fit in a pocket.

Anything else anyone wants me to bring?

Paul, Gareth, Dave and Norma are booked into the Jevington in Lymington on Sunday night before we leave and the Friday night we get back - email/pm me if you need directions.

Ken is staying at his mother in law's.

Now who have I forgotten

Thanks for the generous offer of gear John, I will add a few leads to the communal bucket.

I will also bring some cigar floats and bullets, and some fly gear.

John you sod!!

I`ve been feeling so guilty about abusing your tackle back, I went and did a tackle order. £140`s worth. Just to make things up I`m gonna wash my floatation suit, so you won`t know where I am when you shut your eyes.

I`m waiting on some 40lb power pro arriving, if it doesn`t I`ll buy any strongish braid off you.

I`ll just make up a few rigs then?

See you all on Sunday. :):):)

We don`t use J`s anymore!!

Hi John,

I have ordered 50 peelers to pick up Saturday morning, my treat as your tackle offer has left me feeling coy. :D

Couldn't pick them due to tides and my vehicle is being serviced.

Do you want me to bring down lug and rag?? my treat :D
