I may be responsible for this. The Green Party candidates for the European elections, ranged from half sensible conservationists to rabid vegans?

Whils`t the official manifesto did not target angling specificaly, several candidates expressed the desire to ban all pastimes that caused harm or distress to animals!

OK, most folk will think that they`re refering to hunting with dogs. Same as the labour party.

But many PETA activists are also members of the Greens!

I don`t think I`ve mislead anyone by my original posting?

i see your point, i did explain to the greens that no anglers hunt fish to exhaustion & then rip them apart with packs of dogs but this may be falling apon blind eyes, tell me more of peta, i have come across this name before

The Green party seems to be a front for vegan activist's just go to their site & read the stuff - then follow the links and 'hey presto' you get to the real stuff (Viva,PETA,CAA,Sabs etc).

Isn't a rabid vegan a contradiction in terms. More likely to have a greenfly infested vegan.
