It would take a fair bit of persuasion to get me on a fishing kayak. I’m not the world’s greatest swimmer and like the comfort of having a bit of boat around me when I’m at sea. However, I’m starting to see the attraction…

In fact, I could already see why people do it. We’ve had a few kayak fishing articles on Anglers’ Net over the years and, whether it’s inland or open water fishing, the freedom to roam must be fantastic at times.

The video below, though, borders on ‘the ultimate attraction’ for me – sun and sailfish; it can’t get much better than this, surely?

Some will love the soundtrack and some won’t, but please click the ‘PLAY’ symbol and, at least, watch up until the point when the fish’s head breaks the surface of the water. It’s almost got me searching for my passport…

By the way, you can read an excellent report of this capture on the theDESTINlog.com website. CLICK HERE – it’s an interesting tale.
