All I know phone is that the words global warming were dumped by those who considered climate change sounded more p c.

 

hummmm, I have to ask is mother nature so cruel to deprive humanity the use of the land for all those years with regards to global cooling. So is humanity helping to reverse

 

the horror of the ice age? Is nature being benevolent.

 

And where is all this ice melt going, even the thames barrier don't need to be upgraded any time soon. :thumbs: Im sure the doom and gloomists where looking at that one.

Did you do any f#cking physics at school Barry? Fill a glass with water and ice cubes. mark the level of the water. Wait for the ice to melt. Level will be the same. When ice that is on LAND melts and runs into the ocean then the sea level will increase.

 

Climate change is not more PC, it's more accurate. Global warming is misleading, it gives those with poor science literacy the idea that it will get warmer everywhere. It won't. Some regions will get warmer, some will get colder, some will get warmer.

 

Tell me, does it make you proud to post your ignorance in public?

 

Tell me another thing. What is it that a brickie from Kent knows about it that Oceanographer for the U.S. Navy, RADM David Titley does not? Why aren't the science community rushing to speak to you and chesters about this subject?

ahem, Australia's hot summer, most certainly without a shadow of a doubt , climate change or sounds more dramatic global warming.

Maybe because everything i say is true but not eyecatching enough to get headlines ,everything has happened before and will again long after mans short term on earth has gone

There has been 5 (at least) major extinctions in the past and none to do with man or his cars there is nothing to prove more wont follow if were caught in one then thats bad luck

You can drive along the hogs back one end was formed in a desert the other under miles of water compared to that puny man is insignificant.

 

Man certainly doesnt help cutting the lungs of the planet and littering it up with more man but good old "global warming" isnt firightening enough for the world of man to unite and mend its ways because man exists in a range from -30 to + 40 so a 5 degree change wont do a damn thing but cause more wars not over oil but water and land ,man is kaput end of in the 'eyes' of the globes history we are are less significant than sabre tooth tigers (all killed by cars if scientists could get away with it) just more messier

 

And finaly if you believe global warming is caused by man dont hang on every "scientists" words because if your right its them that got us in this mess ,finding uses for oil ,curing disease and lenghtening life ,they are a double edged sword!
