  2. Thought this was a VERY poignant question indeed. Who is going to make sure the Bats use this tunnel crossing?
  3. Probably more true than My reason!!! (Just not quite as funny may I suggest??
  4. Asda mobile phone will NOT be beaten on cost!! I always buy one while in the UK and bring it back to France unlock and then sell for upwards of 100%!!! LAST ONE COST ME £7.95!!! Samsung??? Tri Band Camera Radio Bluetooth and a headset???
  5. Barry let me let you into a LITTLE secret mate, are you ready?? Sitting Comfortably?? Well as long as your backside points down............
  6. Both have there merits and both have there fall out's!! Like the road I went up last week In Bradford!! About fifteen signs in ALL Languages basically saying the same thing...."Turn back as this road is NOT a through road as per your sat nav! Funnily I checked later and guess what the REAL map said?? It WAS a through Road!!! Just the Sat Nav helped me get on track quicker I think than a paper map!! And GOD alone help the per map reader trying to find ANY address in France! Now that I GOTTA see! :P
  7. No, obviously hadn't!! Thanks for that! :-)
  8. I was sort of talking about mine Jim! :-)
  9. Or how about mine?? Cost me €85K three/four year ago.spent god know how much on it!! 3 bed ex. shop detached with 2 bed gite in gardens and 4 outside buildings. Big garden and work still to do, but mostly to taste 3 downstairs rooms, kitchen, cave, at present one en-suite with ability to make all beds en-suite. Best of offer around 85K inc, feed secures.
  10. Stick to the devil you know!!! Viledieu-les-Poêles is nice
  11. Do you know it MUST be me as I simply CANNOT get to grips with Outlook in any way shape or form!! I THOUGHT I had it set up last week after several years of trying, I sent a rather important email to someone and ALL appeared to be well. Only they go back to me two days later and said as I had IGNORED them and NOT replied as I said I would the offer was offered to next person in line and I suddenly felt ILL!!! So waht is it that actually makes OUTLOOK so damn good as I have not in some 15 years EVER got it to work!!
  12. And I got my option to upgrade to version 6.0 last Friday and now I am being pestered already to replace with 6.02??? I tell you getting stupid this!
  13. Now THAT's is proper nasty Renrag!! BRILLIANT idea though
  14. Colin, whilst I DO agree Newt is 99% of the time 100% correct on this occasion there were two ways to deal with the miscreant! Newts listed one and was of course correct as he is and I would hear NO-ONE say anything against him and he (I hope) knows it!) but there was another way and I suggested that! Mine was a little more risky but I think having used it myself weekly almost for a couple for years gets a better re-action. Like this months clear up rate. 2 x No longer registered and another one who had got his fees back reversed as he blatantly lied and I am still awaiting the stupid woman who would not sell me items as I was "arrogant and rude" Ebay and PP disagreed with her! As did I funnily enough!! So just waiting to see what happens. Best thing is I actually contacted here to say I thought the 99p bid was FAR too low for 20 HAND made Cards!! And she even told me they had cost her 45p each to make! So I gallantly said I was QUITE happy if she wished to nullify the sale and re-claim her fees......And I was Arrogant and rude for that??? Ah well eh?
  15. Sorry it does NO SUCH THING my friend!! It is the biggest waste of money going!! And do not EVER, EVER post anything to Italy!! BIG black hole!
  16. Sorry BUT "International Signed" for is the biggest pile of SH1T going!!! It ONLY covers you to the borders of the UK!!! lad sent me some 2000 envelopes last week and said I had received the goods as he was reliably (Now there is a joke in itself1) from Royal Mail to say the goods were in France!! Of course a load of rubbish! No the post is only as far as the going out of the UK!!! Waste of money!
  17. DON'T think about it too long!! I waited a month mainly as I was not sure I could claim! But due to a slipped disc and at present into my tenth year of NOT being able to work due to this and getting a LOT worse. My advice, make a claim NOW JUST in case!! You don't HAVE to take compensation, but may regret it if you do nothing! Please don't be soft about ti if you ARE due it then your doctor will say you are. If there is nothing wrong NOW then he or she should also say the same thing. BUT whi can see what the future holds?? Wish I had my time again!
  18. Thanks Guys. It is a quite bog standard freezer (CHEAP FRENCH/ITALIAN CRUD!) and just simply doesn't get up to speed?? All is clean an tidy, doesn't appear to get too hot just will not get above -15 when stood. I even stuck a load of newspapers etc in her and still only acheived around 15/16 degrees under?
  19. Newt, I was just going to post this myself. It has JUST happened to me! Seller sold me two books and woudl NOT let me have an address to collect from until I paid?? I did not get this till too late anyway I was on my way back to France BUT I had advised him in a previous email. He opened unpaid item case against one and the other he closed to regain his fees. I left him neutral feedback. Anyway ebay sent me notice of the case and asked me to comment IF I had anything to say. I did of course and sent my reasons for not paying to ebay. However unbeknown to me ebay then CLOSED the claim in his favour as I had NOT RESPONDED??? There was incidentally NO way to reply to that email? NO yellow box just a piece in the email telling me I COULD contact ebay customer services. I showed ebay again the error of there ways and they removed the strike and apologised. So alls well that ends well! But this was a different story and the buyer had already agreed he had broken the rules, hence me telling Andrew to go ahead and report him. He couldn't do anything as he had deliberately broken the rules. Having said that ebay as usual could have bent over the wrong way!! They have of course been know to?
  20. Freezer as new. Not used for 12 months and switche3d it on and achieved around 15/16 degrees under. Fitted a new thermostat and still same! Anyone any idea what problem is?? Not enough gas or duff compressor it HAS to be?? Nothing else on the damn things is there? :P
  21. Andrew, JUST reported someone for this same thing (They said I was RUDE and OBNOXIOUS and refused to sell refunded the money and said that was it!??) almost!! Go to Help (Top right)then type in "report a member" in search box. then click "Types of Violation we'll investigate" This then shows a page with various violation things and look for the one which most agrees with your reflections! And REPORT THE B*****D. This info care of ebay themselves!
  22. I've personally seen this several times on ebay and of course Newt is quite right! The OWNER of the account is personally responsible for ANY bids placed on anything etc. As he is the one with the account info and so has to be the responsible person. It is however worth telling ebay about the problem as they will (if old accounts are anything to go by) SNLR (Services No Longer Required) the owner of the account.
