  1. I don't blame the seller at all. He posted it and as he said in Paypal resolution there is a signature, albeit I would have thought he'd have seen a mere cross as suspicious. Parcelforce have told me that the manager who has liaised with me to date will contact me Monday as he has been informed that Paypal will not act. If the Manager cannot or will not resolve the Police have said go to them. The fact the signature is supposed to have been made by me when CCTV proves me somewhere else, the signature bears no resemblance to mine and the Courier cannot describe the person who signed his pad means it is likely fraudulent. That then becomes criminal. The loss of the article could mean the Courier took it, someone the Courier knew took it or a third party spied an opportunity and took it. There is also the Couriers admission to his manager that the item was left behind the bin by him. Wonder how long it'll be before I get my money back.....
  2. On the electronic signature declaration online the signature is a cross and it states that the person who signed for it was me. So I have a card that states left behind the bin and an online declaration that I signed for it. I paid for this item via Paypal and as far as Paypal are concerned the item is delivered because of the signature, even though it is a mere cross. So according to Paypal the seller is not liable. The fact the signature is fraudulent is of no consequence they said, there is a signature. The Courier cannot be contacted by his manager and cannot describe the person who supposedly signed his electronic pad. I forgot also that the courier also admitted that he left the item behind the bin to his manager.
  3. I understand your point but the one thing that helps me is the fact there is a signature on file marked as mine, in my name, when I was under CCTV observation somewhere else. The fact it was left and was stolen or never delivered is irrelevant given that it was addressed to me and needed my signature to confirm receipt with the courier unable to describe who actually signed the electronic pad. At 1.37pm only my Dogs were at home and as far as I know they cannot write.
  4. I can fully back up the allegation. 1. Parcel was declared as left behind bin...so if the courier wasn't the one to put on the signature then it was the bin. 2. Supposed delivery was at 1.37pm and at 1.37pm I was at my local Co-op as verified by the till receipt, their CCTV and my bank also confirmed time stamp of payment made using chip and pin after returning from a trip to Skegness. 3. The on file signature is a cross and nothing more with the driver unable to offer a description of the person who accepted delivery. 4. The Parcelforce depot manager stated that he thinks the driver made the mark and the driver is now suddenly out of contact, we know all calls are recorded. The Police have said this evening that if Parcelforce do not investigate properly I just need to go into them with the Parcelforce card which I retain, a copy of my signature and the co-op till receipt which thankfully I kept. This is the second time a courier for Parcelforce has left an item in the open, thankfully the first time it was still where it was left. I think the point about having my own CCTV in well made.
  5. Whilst I was out a Parcelforce courier left a card stating my order was left behind my dustbin. Not surprisingly, given my bins are not secure, the order supposedly left was not there when I got home. The courier had also signed for my order on my behalf, even though I was not at home, after leaving my order behind a dustbin. As a result and because there is a signature for delivery I cannot get my money back because as far as the sender is concerned there is a signature of delivery so the item has been received. I am £70 out of pocket, the courier has suddenly disappeared according to a depot manager and unless Parcelforce investigate properly my only recourse is via the Police. I was at the time of delivery in a local Co-operative store, the cctv and till receipt puts me there so hopefully one way or the other I will be getting my money back. Nice though.
  6. I know this is the mail but this story made my blood run cold. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2949596/Shocking-video-shows-paramedic-casually-standing-hands-pockets-man-dies-heart-attack-right-him.html?ito=video_player_click How could anyone leave a man or for that matter a person to die especially outside a hospital? The couple walking in with the Buggy should be ashamed of themselves. ----------------------------------------- Around 2 weeks ago at Leicester forest services on the M1 my 16 year old Son saved the life of a biker who had collapsed in almost exactly the same circumstances, it was amazing to see how many people just walked around the prostrate biker and it was bitterly cold too. I came out with my younger children and thought that, from a distance, my Son was stroking a Dog. He looked at me and shouted, " Get an ambulance dad." I instructed my younger sons to get the first aider and make sure he/she came out with blankets. We stayed until just after the Paramedics arrived but we never knew if he survived. It seems that to many there is no value any more to life.
  7. If you are breathalyzed you can challenge the results of the machine. This is why the Police use two different machines. If there is doubt as to the accuracy of the machine used it can be easily resolved. You need three people, 1 drunk, 1 sober and 1 with a condition that could affect readings. If there are conditions which can affect the reading why has the union not tested the driver for these conditions?
  8. Could even be men inside.....lets face it it has happened before.
  9. I only buy the Newspaper for Hagar, been a follower for years. Always new the Sun would bow to the will of those opposed to the topless models when George and Lyn was scrapped. All the moaners need to remember that page 3 was great for job and wealth creation. Many models went on to have productive futures. Wonder if any campaigners against page 3 go topless when on foreign holidays, or maybe they are so insecure and feel threatened by women with great breasts as their own are deficient? Another case of a minority saying we think it is wrong so it is wrong....makes me sick.
  10. To all members may I take the opportunity of wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year. I hope that 2015 is a better year for all. :sun:
  11. Reminds me of an Adam Sandler / Andrew-Lee Potts cross breed....cannot decide though if the auction is for an xx or xy.
  12. Spam is spam....or as Monty Python would say...
  13. Lamb Christmas Eve. Turkey Christmas Day. Pork Boxing Day. Beef New Years Day. If the Wife's in the mood I'll get desert too...lol
  14. The trick is not having the grill so high. I have mine set about 3/4 and once in watch the progress through the glass; have the cheese set so that it slightly overlaps. If you're worried about cheese spillage put the bread on a Pyrex plate. The cheese always melts before the bread can be burned. Also add other things to make it less boring. Sliced tomatoes under the cheese, or sliced Onion, or Jam. Me personally, I enjoy this: A layer of Strawberry Jam, 3 Plum Tomatoes which I quarter then the strongest mature Cheddar I can get on top set on a large slice of Hedgehog Bread. Beautiful.
  15. Another retarded American piece of hype being encouraged in the United Kingdom. Black Friday follows thanksgiving which forgive me for mentioning is something we do not celebrate. An old woman in a Town not far from me was knocked senseless by some moron who wanted to save £15 on a purchase. How stupid the UK shopper is is shown by the behavior of the stupid UK shopper.
  16. Not so smug now I bet.....wish I'd been in the court to see his face when the Judge delivered his verdict... What idiot takes on four Police Officers and expects a Judge to go against them. Add this to the Mellor outburst and the Tories are showing their real face time and time again.
  17. He'll be back. We common garden Plebs have no say, no voice, no value other than providing for the elite who want to cover their over inflated expenses through our taxes.
  18. Remember that this child took a life and if the report is to be believed he was prepared, by his own admission, to take others. Someone stated that children are desensitized and I believe this to be true. Society glorifies violence from a young age and innocence is lost or fatally damaged. Given the murderers current mindset I would be very uncomfortable knowing he was living near me. No doubt this child will be given a new identity when or if he is eventually released, just like the Bulger killers, but given such a long custody he is likely to struggle with reintegration into society and could well be an even bigger threat in the future to all around him. I suspect that he has some mental illness and treating this apparent indifference to life should be the first priority. Was the murderer influenced by society? Was he a game player? Did his social surrounding influence him? I have seen nothing about his family viewpoint. Some people in our society just don't give a toss about other people and see this as a game. In war these people are readily sought out but in normal society they have no place. Perhaps being a murderer is a badge he wears on his sleeve, who knows? For the dead teacher and her family the ripples from this stone in the water had serious and lasting consequences which will last, I am sure, for a long time. Can he ever be rehabilitated, I doubt it. When you cross the line it can be impossible to ever get back. A minimum term of 20 years is in my view an appropriate sentence but at 35, he if he obtains release, he is likely to be fully fit, influenced by other criminals, institutionalized and potentially a greater threat that he is now. As this is seemingly a premeditated murders there is argument enough for the reinstatement of capital punishment. Do I want my taxes paying for his upkeep for the next 20 years..No.
  19. If you abolish NI who employs the people who would be out of work?
  20. Innocent until proven guilty. I believe disclosure should only be completed if guilt is proven, even for MP's.
