I wos trying to get to Irland this year on me own im 18 allmost 19 but i share me dads car(Issurance is to highe to get me own),so can't take the car and cant get issured on a higher car.so unfortuanley i can't go :<. I'm not to sure but as long as it is in the uk i think you can and esp if you over 16 thats just a guess though!

I have to agree they do give up alot better fight when foul hooked.Don't think i have ever foul hooked any small fish most over 2lb wich is kinda strange.

I haven't fished on catmeat for a while but used bag up on it my methord wos....Fishing a pole with duel bung 8-12 with 12 hook and about 4lb line,hook the meat on the hook with a baiting neddle and feel micro pellets as lose feed.That's just my own little way worked on the waters i have fished it with.Lots of quallty Carp(2lb-8lb) and a good few tench.

My bro taught me how to fish on one of these ,an it wos old then(10/12 years ago).Wot a real he still has his amazing all they are ihmo.

I book't the first week of the season(have done last 8 or more years),so i can go fishing with my borthers,shame the rivers don't usally fish that well the first few mounths season imho.

Are old club went down there about 5 years ago :confused: and the lake we fished we caught best in the margines etc again in summer and long time ago.

ive hered that carving a trench (appox6" deep) in the ground and lieying the eel in the trench on it's back uselly works.Don't know if this is true or not cause haven't cort a eel since i got told this advice.Trolly Dolly or any other Eel Anglers shed any light on this methord? Hi everyone long time no chat! I'm only 18 years old,i never had any bother wen i wos younger with grown ups.Never realy asked them for any help my self me brothers Ste mc and Paul mc taught me.As someone has allready stated though young Anglers have a short span of consintration so therefor get into trouble,so this makes older Anglers alot more on there toes round them.

I'd say the best book i have found is-John wilson's-corse fishing!Very good book tells you all you need to know really and in detail imho

Iam no expert or anything.But me and my brothers fish a small stream (not sure were runs into)its about 12ft wide and 4 ft in the deppest parts (average 2-3ft).The best methored on this water for me is just walking down the bank with a stick float,Trying each peg i come across (find the depper runs) for about 10 min (on magort).Only time used a led/fedder is in the bason were sit down for a while (bason about 20 ft wide) were the sticky still usally gets the better chub/grayling.
