I just have to share this with you guys and gals. Caught my first ever Chub this evening....4lb 15oz and believe it or not, caught on the local canal. The evening was topped off with a 10lb 8oz mirror carp which fought like it was much bigger. All in all, a fantastic night and i'm well chuffed.

Woodzzz, The wording of your reply, ie: ****, could suggest many things. The mind boggles.

My partner had an operation on her knee which involved sanding down the inside of the knee joint if that is any help.

Can anyone give me an idea on what to look for when buying a digi-cam. I'm thinking about getting one, but having looked around a few retailers I see the prices can range from a few quid upto thousands. From what I understand, the higher the amount of pixels the better. Could I get a pretty decent one for around £50? :confused:

My local tackle dealer told me he could no longer sell maggots in pint measures due to the EU directives on weights and measures. :mad: I am now suposed to ask for a "measure" of maggots, just the same amount though, crazy!

Dean, not a good idea to backlead over weed. When you reel in you will be draging your sinker and rig back through the stuff, you'll end up either losing terminal tackle, getting snaged or having to spend time untangling a weedy mess.
