  6. Happeee birthday you auld git, have a great day. I hope you don't pi$$ your pance too many times after your suprise party. Oh $hit I bet they've cancelled it, now I've let the cat out of the bag. Just enjoy your day.
  7. Give Colin a telephone call Ken, he may have a stand in skipper. As you can imagine what he's been through, I doubt he'll not want to be letting anyone down though. How's your recovery doing, you sound more positive, that's got to be a good sign.
  8. The best thing for any committee to do, is resign.
  9. Here's thinking of Colin, lets all hope he makes a speedy recovery.
  10. Elton blank banners, with any colour combination, for you to add what you like. A range of products, with company colour coordination, no problem. It's only limit, is your imagination. Give me, or send me, a companies colour code and I'll make up, whatever size of blank banners, you want. Rectangle, square, round any shaped banners you need, just shout.
  11. All the best Ken, stick with the medication, with a slow build up of strength. Eating food fit for rabbits and after a couple of weeks start with short walks around the garden. Before you know it, it'll be Spring, and you'll be walking the dog for miles. Welcome to the club. PS To all at Anglers Net, we are not looking for new members.
  12. I've just read this Elton, if there's any book or banners you need help with graphics just send me the piccies, with some ideas of what your looking for.
  13. Hi Norrie one big hellava cat, with a kip over, onboard, with bunks for all. Barry I'll give you a wave next time we're down that way, June infact.
  14. Well another great trip out of Weymouth, all the crew caught and went home with a very good bag of fish. Black Bream were in abundance with Bass, Pouting, Smoothound and Mackerel coming onboard. Though we were looking to get into Bass, they were scarce on the day. All undersized fish were returned as was the 8lb Smoothound. This was to be the fish of the day, caught by Paul, one of our guests. Across the back of the Boat. A good box of Black Bream. Tip for the day, Avis plastic booms, short snoods ie 8", size 1 or 1/0 Aberdeen hooks with a small section of Ragg Worm tipped with a slither of Squid. Top catching rigg for landing Black Bream.
  15. Same here Ken, maybe Elton's playing with the buttons.
  16. Best Wishes Ken, from someone who went through a similar patch five years ago. It may not feel like it at the moment, but you will be back on the beaches. The good news is Wales is getting a By-Pass.
  17. A CRACKING report Snatcher I hope you enjoy the rest of your time there. Loads of time to hide and get some of the wild life.
  18. If a sea fishing licence is enforced, then I won't be paying it. Tax's are more than enforced, from all quarters, this will be a time for us all to stand up and be counted. Hang up our rods, and walk away, then see who the loosers would be.
  19. Congrats to the both of you. 36 years for us this September. She's still the boss.
  20. Well done Ken and also a big hand to all that took part.
  21. Well we are back up to Whitby next Saturday. Weather permitting we are out on the Sea Trek and hopefully going to land a few Lunkers. It's the September Fishing Festival, so not just enjoying the great fishing Whitby has to offer, we could be in for a great prize also. Watch this space for the report n piccies.
