  1. if you are only wearing a floatation suit when out fishing and you fall overboard you can be face down possibly unconsious. so you need a 275n life jacket to turn you over onto your back.preferably an automatic self inflating type. as a floatation suit doesnt know what way up you are.get it.
  2. dont forget you need a 275 newton life jacket if you are wearing it over your floatation suit (according to fladen) as any less bouyancy will not turn you face up if you fall in
  3. thanks for the replies folks, looks like i need a new phone

  5. chesters that corgi bloke who didnt find your caravan gas leak may not have been qualified to work on caravans.one call to corgi and he would have been in it up to his neck. today i passed my exam to fit and examine heating oil tanks and lines but i still cant touch the boiler, cost for today £240 course,£450 registration and £120 for license and no wages for today.need to save up for boiler course £2000 and 5 days training. cowboys dont want to spend this type of money
  6. dan them holes could be from the pipe expanding and contracting if it is the hot one cement will eat bare copper in no time they should have atleast been lagged, preferably in a propper ducting. i have just found out that plumbers are going to be licensed in 2 years time, they will have to pass nvq level 2 to be able to get a work card similar to a corgi reg card before they are allowed to work so it should hopefully sort out the cowboys.
  7. sandpipper..you could make a shop full of stuff looking at the size of that thing
  8. i am a sub-contractor for hampshire county council and work on commercial plumbing installations, schools, old folks homes etc and i would rather not have all the hastle of working in peoples houses. i may earn less but at least the work is varied compared to fitting boilers, bathrooms etc (yawn) and if the weather is nice i can go fishing whenever i want. i didnt even fit my own central heating system (too fiddly and her indoors cant whinge at me if it goes belly up)lol i do agree that £125 plus per hour is a rip off though even at night.they must be using gold fittings
  9. £100,000per year dream on i just manage £30,000 for 6 days a week
