First carp

Just a quick post to celebrate my youngest (aged 8) on her first carp weighing 3 and a half pounds from oakwood pond in Harlow caught on sweet corn

Congrats, i used to enjoy fishing that pond when i lived in a pub round the corner,(96) is it still cramed with terrapins?

i caught my first carp yesterday too- although i dont know how to put an image up otherwise id share it with you.....

well dun mate...and very well done Peter's daughter!! I remember my first carp....a whopping pound and a half!! So will she be fishing again Peter??

ah ha i may have beaten you both- my fish took 10 mins to get in the net and was about 40cm long. how do you post a pic? i dont know what she weighed as i dont have any scales, that next on my list

Nice pic... and it was at least 3.5 times bigger than my first carp!
