As it's 2009 you'd think that you could buy a licence at any time and it would be valid for 12 months from that date.

I quite like the design, too.

 

I do worry, though, that a single species design may not sit comfortably with some people. Imagine Peter Waller's first post here after finding out that he's got to shell out £25 for a credit card size photo of a carp

 

To be honest, I think they'd be better off just making a plain one.

I've been saying the same thing for years (me and thousands of others!) Then maybe we wouldn't be waiting over a week for them to arrive when everyone buys one at the same time!
