Where does Fred Goodwin Live?

What absolute rot. My "negative attitude" is fired by his smug decision to keep the money the idiots in our government were conned by his mates into giving him.

People might say "He isn't doing anything illegal." and that is probably true, but it is damned sure immoral. That is why I say don't do anything illegal to him, but I think we are perfectly within our rights as a society to legally abuse people who wrong us.

If no-one will play golf with him, talk to him in a bar, play with his kids, or in fact associate with his family in any way, then those actions are also "not doing anything illegal" and are therefore just as "right" as what he is doing.

 

People were suggesting making his family's life intolerable.... what reason is there for that? Goodwin was the employee. If you wish to ostracise him - assuming you'd get near enough (is that an oxymoron?)- that's fine. But his children and wife, for example are innocent victims. The way the issue was handled, I actually have a degree of sympathy for Goodwin, and nothing but scorn for Myners and the RBS board.

Well I for one am never going to play golf with him again, and my daughter is not to play with his kids either. It's tough I know, but he deserves it. If every Anglers Net member stopped playing golf with him tomorrow we would bring him to his knees in a matter of .. well... a few generations anyway

Can you imagine what it must be like to be hated by a Nation? It's bad enough to be hated on AN but a the whole country? Think he better grow some tough skin and enjoy his retirement, another figure of hate will be along soon, we all need one
