I recon there is something in it, but not just full moon but new moon (no moon) too.

I fished a comercial fishery on a season ticket for a year and recorded exactly what i caught each time and had a chart on MS Excel, one of the things i noted was the phase of the moon for each session. All my heavy catches were on full or new moon didnt seem to matter wich. And 95% of the 'double' figure carp i caught were also on these days. Hope this helps, i certaintly consider it when im planning on goin fishing.

Seems to affect fishing (and shooting since animals react to the same conditions) day and night.
