Beautiful area, with some wonderful walks. I used to live about 10 miles away.

Its called Holme Styes at the back of Hade Edge,where abouts did you live ?

Skelmanthorpe, and I know Holme Styes too, just getting confused over the different ones. Looking low at the moment, are they doing work on the dam, or just a lack of rain?

Just took a load of pics at work tonight, this being one of the cheeky little blighters that c**p all over the pier every night! bit blurred sorry.

 

 

And this is one of the scarecrows at the other end of the pier, and yes it seems to work

He is called Brian the Terrible after the harbour master lol

Emz, My favourite part of Anglesey is the cliffs around Trearddur Bay. I can happily spend hours watching the chough and ravens. I saw my first ever puffin there one stormy day this summer.

I live 5 minutes walk from those cliffs I go there daily to take the dog out And very much like you, I can just sit there for hours
