Nice picture nursejudy. I guess you're getting the hang of that new camera.

 

I've forgotten now, is that Digley or one of the other reservoirs round there?

 

Beautiful area, with some wonderful walks. I used to live about 10 miles away.

Skelmanthorpe, and I know Holme Styes too, just getting confused over the different ones. Looking low at the moment, are they doing work on the dam, or just a lack of rain?

Just took a load of pics at work tonight, this being one of the cheeky little blighters that c**p all over the pier every night! bit blurred sorry.

And this is one of the scarecrows at the other end of the pier, and yes it seems to work :D

He is called Brian the Terrible after the harbour master lol

Emz, My favourite part of Anglesey is the cliffs around Trearddur Bay. I can happily spend hours watching the chough and ravens. I saw my first ever puffin there one stormy day this summer.

I live 5 minutes walk from those cliffs :D I go there daily to take the dog out :) And very much like you, I can just sit there for hours :)
