Land Rover Freelander?

Been looking at a freelander today and im very close to puting pen to paper...Does any one have one or know any one with one? If so what they like eg.reliable are the parts expencive?

i would be greatful for any info on them.

only really heard good things about them, one thing to bear in mind however is that most of the petrol ones use the rover K series engine, so spares and support for those engines may be patchy now.....

arnt they the ones that pop their head gasket every few months

check the topgear site they came very low in a jd power survey for reliabilaty if your buying 4x4 buy what they use in africa/ india toyota /nissan out there spares are hard to get therefore they use the most reliable it aint LANDROVER in any shape or form

You got that right!

I've lived and worked in the Libyan Sahara and wouldn't have any sort of landrover for a bet.

Get a Toyota Landcruiser and do it properly.

Best 4X4 by far
