160mph + in a Supra tubby a few years ago, it was lent to me by an ex's mum so I had to have a go lol

 

BTW, hows this for a fiesta, its still frnt wheel drive too

Many years ago I had a tuned Firenza, the company that tuned it also tuned a 2.0 Manta that was clocked at 172 mph on a private road by a copper with a speed gun.

I remember reading a news report some years ago when the police stopped a guy on the M4 who was towing another car at over 100mph! The guy in the towed car was obviously just a passenger and was in a state of shock near to collapse when the driver was stopped. Apparently the towed car belonged to the driver towing it, he had another car which he had used to tow, one of his employees was steering the towed car.
