The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Jim Roper:

Queer

You are a sad man, Jim Roper. In your profile you list ‘Preservation of British Culture’ amongst your interests, but the best you can come up with in association with Alan Turing is a derogatory and offensive comment on the man’s sexuality.

For those who do not know Alan Turing was one of the founding fathers of what we today call ‘Computer Science’ and was also one of the key personnel who worked at Bletchley Park during WWII breaking the Nazi Enigma code. Without the work of Alan Turing and his colleagues Mr Roper may have found himself with no British Culture to preserve.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Nope, I meant bollard,--kipper-kipper tie-tie up(to bollard) or the alternative? -- Hello Sailor--perhaps leaning on said bollard.

Perhaps you meant bitt

:)
