it certainly aint doing what it was forecast to do :mad:

 

we were supposed to get heavy snow on Friday night so I cancelled the trip up to work on the boat..

 

 

What did we get, probably the best weekend weather wise we have had this year, no wind, sunny and dry all weekend.. perfect weather for what I needed to do. :mad:

 

I thought things were supposed to improve with modern technology, the forecasts for the West of Scotland have consistently become less accurate over the last few years. :confused:

 

what I do feel sorry for is the businesses that have lost out in valuable trade, as most people like me would have stayed at home rather than make a journey.

 

So to the Met Office: thanks yet again you have shown that you cant forecast a p*ssup in a brewery. :mad:

there was a wee bit of snow lying above about 500 feet on friday night saturday morning, but non at sea level that stayed, just a bit blowing in the wind. Very cold, but nice and sunny.

 

Sounds like we may get a bit tomorrow morning, but it's the east thats going to get it bad.
