anyway...not to worry

norway and italy (and slovenia, and moldova and belarus) will finish ahead of scotland

switzerland and france will finish ahead of the Irish

england and poland will finish ahead of Wales, so we will be flyin the flag again, alone in the world cup in 2006

right england were bad and this result was just as bad as the lack lustre performance against brazil in 2002 ; if not worse. personally the midfield do not play as a unit just because you have talented individuals doesnt make them the best for the team as awhole . beckham looks jaded and should be dropped he either concentrates on being a media celeb or knuckles down on being a footballer he is also incapable of getting behind the man and just seems to hoof the ball in.

england as a whole did not seem to have a plan b and there style of play is very similar to liverpool . i dont think that sven has the passion to convey to his squad about winning . his tactical selections for bringing vassel on insread of heskey whose physical presence would have been more of a threat up front.

still its no use crying over spilt milk it is only a game portugal deserved to win because they played football as it should be played ; england need to develop the style of play when venables was manager instead of a bunch of hoofers up the park .

The salary of the chief executive of a large corporation is not a market award for achievement. It is frequently in the nature of a warm personal gesture by the individual to himself.

I am not the worlds greatest expert on the rules of Assosciation Football, but isn't there a rule that says that a player is not allowed to touch the goalie when he is in his box? The photo on the back of todays Sun clearly shows an arm in a England shirt on the Portugese goalies shoulder.

Just wondering

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Not at all. I was _really_ looking forward to watching a France v England final, and I think that you were robbed last night. It should not have gone to penalties.

Who do you think will win tonight, France or Greece?
