We can all agree to differ about causes and solutions but just to stand back and do nothing ... ?

discussion always results in opposing veiws ,nodding in agreement makes poor reading :)

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

 

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

 

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Was on the news tonight about the coal mines in china and the power stations. Frightening. I have a theory we will all be cooked alive within the next 50 years. We seem set on destroying our planet.

Also my point! and I have no problem with opposing views about solutions its that some making them seem prepared stand back and not only let others suffer but blame them for their own misfortune that disturbs me. That in my book is a lack of humanity.

The fact is that people in the developing world will stop having too many children when there is a better than evens chance that they will survive, at least into their teens!

In 1981 I was working on the Libya Chad border during the war and I witnessed people quietly and stoically enduring suffering and hardship the we in our comfortable lives could not begin to comprehend. Have you ever been thirsty?

I don't just mean fancy a drink thirsty, I mean dry dusty lip cracking thirsty, where you would drink ****, - if you had some!

Ever been hungry? the sort of hungry where you would chew wood?

How about a mother driven to prostitution to try and keep her family alive. She charges £1.50 for sex with a condom or £4.00 without in a country with 30% AIDS. risking her life day in day out to feed her family in a country able to be self sufficient in food, if it wasn't all destined to be luxury items for the West :D

In our history we raped and pillaged the "undeveloped" world.

Nothing changes :(

Sleep well tonight, I hope none of your children die before morning :(

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.
