Almost had two PB pike today :) got the biggest first, so only one PB :)

Den that is a stunning brace well done [very jealous face] and well done on the new Pb ,catch the bigger one again in late Feb and it will be another PB by some margin methinks

We are not putting it back it is a lump now put that curry down and go and get the scales

have I told you abouit the cruise control on my Volvo ,,,,,,,bla bla bla Barder rod has it come yet?? and don`t even start me on Chris Lythe :bleh::icecream:

Den, how could you? Have you no shame? How could you wear a hat like that?

 

Cracking fish though...well done! I'd run a mile at the size of a fish like that...I'm still working on tiddlers until I get someone to show me the ropes.

:) :) No Chris. proper piking this time :) As some of you know, I was on a quest for my first "proper" 20+ the first was on a maggot filled method feeder :)

 

I did manage to crack it with a 20lb 4oz last winter, but was plagued with losing fish, some of which felt really heavy........until they came off. This year I am using smaller hooks and leaving the barbs intact, and both the big'uns and a smaller one today were only lightly hooked, and would almost certainly have got off if I had used barbless.

 

Pics are stills grabbed from HD video, I shouted to a guy further along the bank to come and take some shots, but he just ignored me, and crawled back in his bivvie, so I set the vid up on a box.

 

Janet, there are quite a few pics of me with fish....and a proper hat..... here is another one to make your mouth water..
