Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

As far as I am concerned the site is becoming more like it used to be now we have got rid of some of the members who seem to be missing. We should be allowed to express our opinions without being insulted by those who disagree with us. That is how it used to be when we formed AN, people like Rabbit, for example, did nothing for the general atmosphere here.

I've only been a member for just over four years, (so compared to some I'm a relative newcomer), and when I joined there were a few 'bust ups', but a lot of humour. The arguments did get worse, and action was taken, but sadly a lot of the humour went too. I don't know if the two are connected, or it's just a case of people 'treading on egg shells' for fear of upsetting anyone. Maybe it's just a sign of the times we live in, I don't know. I do know I do miss the humour and occasional 'mickey taking' that we used to have though.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

No argument there AND I like Vegimite too! :D A guy I used to fish with used to have what he called Marmalite sandwiches which were a mixture of marmalade and Marmite. Never really fancied trying that though! :yucky:

You are exactly right mate. Because of one or two, a number of us were not prepared to voice our thoughts on a number of subjects. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me, I have been a journalist far too long for that to be a problem. However, I am not prepared to tolerate personal attacks by people who enjoy the anonymity of a pen name when they probably wouldn't have the guts to say those things to your face. Because of those people I have taken several long breaks from this site because it had ceased to be fun. I am no supporter of censorship, but when you have two or three people spoiling the enjoyment of large numbers of others there is only one solution in my opinion and it is looking as though that has been done.

I enjoyed English beer when I lived in England, but our beer is made for our climate and there is nothing like it. I have got so used to it that when I visited the UK in 2004 I couldn't handle English beer and stuck to Stella Artoir. Nice and cold (like the weather) but a bit weak. Not a bad pint though and after six or seven pints it was beginning to taste as good as Aussie beer. One evening I really got stuck into it and saw a picture of a woman and I fancied her. I learned that it was Amy Winehouse so I went on to orange juice for a few days.

Agree with that - I prefer draught. but if I can get only canned/bottled then imported Fosters on the one hand and imported Guinness on the other take a lot of beating.

Mind you, Chevin brews a pretty mean beer himself.........
