DOG rough or what??

Chris Goddard

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

I remember talking to a net friend who lived in Oregon many years ago and I asked him about the crime rate where he lived. He told me that they don't have a crime rate there, just new mounds of earth in the woods. :D

They must have big moles in Oregon because as I understood it, the mounds of earth are about 6 feet long and almost three feet wide. I got bitten by an English mole once and it bloody hurt. I would hate to get bitten by an Oregon mole! :D Especially as moles are one of the most aggressive animals on the planet!

I guess that we can put one thing over Texans when it comes to the size of a state. Western Australia is a bit bigger than Texas. In fact you can get Texas, the British Isles, New Zealand and Japan in Western Australia and still have room to spare!

And yet the 12 people living there still complain the place is getting crowded.

Yes, you are quite right mate. I reckon they should have stopped further migration into WA the day after I arrived. Is there really 12 of us here now? I missed the last census. :o

Seriously though, just 30 years ago we were so far off the beaten track, one of the Western Australians at work chipped into a conversation about air ports and said, "Do you know, Perth airport now has 44 international flights a week?" I think that he really expected everyone to be really impressed by that! :D
