Andrew Burgess 12
leedsunited: So what should i use for a hooklength All i got is hooks to nylon and braided hooklengths with swivels on but they have a higher breaking strain than the line Get the hook to nylon one forget the ones with the braided hooklenght Growing old is inevitable but growing up is optional http://www.bass-online.co.uk/
rickster 0
leeds keep it simple, dont start trying to adapt anything, any bead will do for aslong as the hole in the middle stops at the swivel. Its only to stop the ledger going over the swivel and to take out the impact of the cast. Just keep it as Slide the ledger on your reel line then the bead, attach the swivel and hookline to the end of it, lift the rig up and you will see the weight slides up and down the reel line without passing the swivel Visit our NEW FISHING Website (now updatedANGLERS-TALES
Peter Waller 50
Personally I think plastic beads are fine. And I really wouldn't worry too much about rubber beads. Just keep it simple! Personally I think too many people just complicate the issue. Not least the manufacturers, such as Fox, who simply want you to buy loads of unnescessary junk to adorn your ledger rigs with!
