'Slodger, I don't read Peter Waller's comments about long-stay carp anglers as castigation'

Peter doesn't just post on here. And anyway he reiterated my point by stating his stance on live-baiting. I think you need to reread my post, you've missed the point completely.

Slodger, please see my edited comment re livebaiting a couple of posts previously.

I might have a go at our carp fishing brothers but castigation is not the word I would use! However there might be a grain of truth in my comments .

Jeez!... Oh alright Peter, let's use me as an example instead. I don't like much the idea of targeting pike in the summer. Umpteen members of the PAC do. I'm still a PAC member. Does it make sense now?

It did anyway!

I thought I had just made things a tad clearer!, I don't choose to livebait, but there was a clear, and at the time, publicised example of me supporting my fellow pikers.

I'm just wary of the same arguement being used with reference to the CA. I can support the PAC because I support the general principle. As for the principles of the CA, well, what can I say ?

I'm butting out of the thread Peter. No matter how I try and put genuine questions regarding the CA it ends up looking like I'm a supporter, which, as I keep repeating, I'm not, as of yet.

As a relative newcomer to AN I begin to wonder if some of the people posting on this thread actually gives a jot about the Ca's impact on fishing, or whether they'd rather just demonstrate their high intellect, their in depth knowledge of politics or simply argue the toss with their favourite sparring partners.
