having a close location is ok it doesnt need to be the real one but a town nearby ETC ,it is also good for answering some of the questions about fisheries in "their" location when they forget to mention where they are in the post.

I dont live in Farnham but its a darn sight easier to find than the village i'm in near it ,you have to zoom in pretty close in google earth to see it but farnham is visible further out

All of us bright, clued in folks include our location.

 

Do you update it as you move around or are you more static now fuel is more expensive ;)

we used to move every fortnight or so when we were in a camper ,midweek was best rather than weekend to weekend when the sites were busy ,if we liked it we stayed a bit longer but usually had at least a week to get us to the midweek again

Mines there but i do use a homebrew forum that has a members map. Something like that might be handy if it could be managed so that it didn't get swamped with inactive members.

I havn't done before now as I'm a new user. Only just realised I've had my 15th post so have changed it on the options. This is a test to see if it shows really.

Started coarse fishing February last year, species so far:

 

Roach, Rudd, Bream, Tench, Perch, Carp, Gudgeon, Eel, Crucian and a Goldfish.
