That's a nice thought Judy and especially for parents who live anywhere the riot zones.

in his room playing his xbox, going in to watch a movie with him shortly. tomorrow were going for supplies for a short camping trip (weather permitting)

he's getting close to the age(teens. he's 11 just now) where he's going out with friends but he's got boundaries. if he cant be found close to the football complex he's in big trouble and he knows it.

im confident that as he gets older he's not going to turn out like some unfortunate kids without boundaries and discipline.

In my experience kids respond positively to boundaries and discipline...it gives them something to use and to judge their own values against. They'll always try to push the boundaries, it's called growing up, but once a standard is set they'll always use that as a 'baseline' to develop their own values.

Have a great trip!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

I doubt most of the rioters know who their dads are.

I don't know who my dad is....and I could do with a new Flat Screen TV! Can you sub me the diesel to London? It doesn't look like Grundisburgh is going to kick off :D

Nah, you own a business. According to the rioters interviewed the other night, that makes you rich, therefore you are not allowed to steal flatscreen tellies.
