Stickers, hmmm stickers.Stickers is very much a continental thing! the true Brit angler seems more into badges, both metal and cloth. The sea angling fraternity especially. You go into any French,German ,Italian or Spannish shop and they often have a better selection of stickers than tackle! When I was living on the bank of the Saonne we would get many visitors. Some would want to know if they could book a days fishing with us,some would be wanting to buy bait, some to ask advice and others just to chat cat fishing. But Germans, all Germans wanted to do was buy stickers!!So much so that we had a load more of the transfers we displayed on our boats and cars advertising the conpany made up to sell to them! One of the guide,Ryan, made a small fortune by nicking a load of the small "Silure River" stickers that we put on our "own branded" rods.He put these on disposable lighters brought in bulk from the local super market! Stickers!

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

My old leeda/steadfast seatbox is held togehter by stickers.

Since the fishingwear clothing boom manufacturers have stopped making cloth badges.

Is simple but clever thinking, why charge an angler a few quid for a badge when we can charge them seven quid by attaching it to a hat et etc
