Although I practise one of Peter's contributions he is quite correct ! Wont stop me though.

My thoughts are:

Stocky Rainbows (but don't tell me wife please).

Playing fish with elastic.

Reel clutch (I have never got out of first)

Swinger or dangler bite indicators (they do nothing of the sort)

Going fishing to relax after a very hectic week at work and not lying on a bed chair reading a good book.

Match fishing, as not all swims are matched in terms of potential.

Rowing out the baits, then rowing out to net the weeded fish.

Using a bait boat, rather than casting.

Stealthy set up with pod, screw in bivvy pegs, then putting in 40 8oz spods. (Guilty as charged)

Dead fish purchased to catch a fish you then put back. (Guilty as charged)

Bad mouthing boilies, when maggots, bread, cheese, sweet corn, mackerel etc are artificial to the water environment.

Salmon flies, they are not. (Guilty as charged.)

The knotless Knott

Calling someone a 'pleasure' angler................as opposed to?????????????

Having a strong, long carp rod, built for casting big weights and big baits a long distance, but then plopping your rig and bait on a bait boat and sailing it out there.

I find rod names ironic, we all talk about how important fish care is, and then buy rods that sound more like they were built for bashing the living daylights out of the fish - the enforcer, outlaw etc etc
