What Reel?

Recommended Posts

I am thinking of purchasing a new reel but i am a bit undecisive over which one to get. I know there is a lot of competition these days so i would be grateful if anyone could help me out.

The reel has to be one which is generally for course fishing, it must have quite a lot of ball bearings, and must have some spare spools too. I am thinking of getting the Okuma Epix Pro. Has anyone got this and if so is it any good?

Cheers.

As posted before, I'm totally fed up with my Okuma Interceptor, which has been absolute rubbish. When I buy another reel it will be a Daiwa or Shimano: after all, a good reel will last years, so why worry about paying a bit more?
