Most Americans above a certain age (around 50 or so) can tell you exactly where they were and what they were doing at that precise moment.

For me, college cafeteria eating a cheesburger.

It was just then that President Kennedy was shot and killed in Texas.

Yup Greg. Probably about 6 hours later in the UK so 18:30 (6:30 PM) would have been about it.

Texas is on central standard time and I gave the local time for the shooting.

being 10 at the time i couldnt care less about america or corrupt american families ,i had greater things on my mind like annoying parents and trying to make floats out of elder pith :)

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

As for the moon landing she remembered she was at a TV studio watching them film a science fiction film about landing on the moon, the star of the film was called something Armstrong & his co star was a Mr Aldrin
