Lodge Pool/AnglerNet meeting update

MrMatthew:

Just fished the pool this afternoon...

4 Loverly carp, and 3 lost due to my tackle being lightweight!

2 on a waggler and 2 on floating bread, by 10pm I could have freelined a malteeser on a piece of string and caught....

Matthew, what's the definition of loverly, size wise? I'm a bit worried that my tackle won't be up to it, either.

For who are comming to Lodge Pool/AnglersNet Meeting.

In tackle wise You can used float fishing, Legering - Quivertip/ Method feeder types rod will be best or the pole

I will be quite happy to show anyone on the Method feeder/ feeder fishing

I beleive Budgie is doing the pole/feeder work but not sure

I am hoping the another member will do the pole fishing.

Full set of rules and road direction will be on the website or private mail on all whose are comming.

MrMatthew:

Didn't get out the scales and I am notoriously bad at judging weight, I would say 10lb was the biggest -

I went from 4lb hooklink to 6lb hooklink and finally needed to fish striaght through on 8lb line, next time I will be stepping up a bit.

:D:D:D

Thanks, Matthew. I can cope with low doubles on my tackle, if they come my way.

The "prime peg" cheque is in the post, Andrew .

Although by risking the trip from the East to the West Midlands, the East Midlanders should get the best pegs by default.
