Ordered my shopping from Sainsbury's on-line to be delivered to-day between 12&2pm ,hubby in charge as I'm at work, phone call at 3pm no shopping arrived.Got home at 4.30 to find shopping just been delivered, hubby very alarmed at amount of shopping bags,How much had I spent . On checking I had all my Shopping plus someone else's,this included 2 boxes of wine, all together about £60 of food and wine.I rang Sainsbury's,felt really guilty,we will ring you back they said. After 30 mins they rang, keep the goods for to night in case they could get a driver to pick them up,if not the goods are ours to keep. The meat is in the freezer and the wine tastes great. My pantry is full as is the veg rack and fruit bowl, all I can say is thankyou Sainsbury's. :D I have over a £100 's worth of shopping and it only cost me £40. :D Donot know if I dare use them again, anyone want some dishwasher tablets the only thing I cannot utilise.

How any right thinking person can spend time ordering stuff from whichever supermarket is totally beyond me. Get a life and get out and walk around the bl**dy place. Just think of all the bargains you miss out on if you order on here. You medical people are always bellyaching that the public needs more exersise

It really is VERY sad :(:D

Oy, Ian. Nursejudy and most others employed in the care industries work long, hard hours. Maybe there is a preference to spend what is laughably called spare time doing something other than trolling round a Supermarket looking for 50p off pre-packed vegetables. Fishing springs to mind.

Have I got a bite? :D  :D

Help me unhook these, please.

So sorrrrrry i have had your food do you want some wine....

Ian

Does this mean you have not yet mastered internet shopping......I hate supermarket shopping, instead of going shopping on Friday nights after work, when i walk round in a daze anyway.i pick my hubby up and we go out for dinner and spend a bit of quality time to gether.Surely thats better than shopping, also i spend less on line, because you cannot see the shelves and get tempted by offers and end up buying things you do not really want.

judy

ps. thanks for the support little onions, how many men actually enjoy supermarket shopping anyway.

Oh yes the wine, the Vicar asked the wife to pick up some wine for communion. He had to use Ribena with a touch of gin instead.

Don't feel guilty though, just don't go walking around in a thunderstorm, and keep an eye open for a big finger comming from the sky, to squash you.
