I'm surprised there's been no comment on this mini-series on Channel 5. I'm so busy I've only just caught up with the 4 programmes.

 

I really enjoyed them, especially the final one on fly fishing for pike on Chew Reservoir. The guest, a very experienced flyfisher in his seventies, was visibly shaking with excitement!

 

More please!

I've only seen the first episode where he was sea fishing wich I thought was a bit boring to be honest and then I forgot all about it. Usually programes are advertised to death well in advance of being aired and inbetween each episode also but I haven't seen any sign of this programe being advertised. That's the reason why i've missed it.

I'll give them a whirl. Not to sure what to make of Chris Tarrant on fishing, I've seen his work before on various other fishing programs and wasn't bowled over. It can't be any worse than Robson though!

Yeah, this one passed me by too. Thanks, Steve. Mind, my current fave is Keith Arthur's Tight Lines - currently the best coarse fishing programme on TV.
