lo just a pic upload test and stuff

i cought these at sandhead near folkstone

 

i basicly filleted them washed em in a bowl of lemon juice and coated em in flower with pepper salt little touch of tobasco and fryed em in a large grill pan with about an half inch of olive oil in it for about a min both sides placed on kitchen towel then served with salad and beer

if ya get a fork and pinch out the small bit where the bones are the whole thing can be eaten bone free i hold em like a small pizza slice in my hand the light flower coating keeps all the flesh together

trying this out as im new here. im based on guernsey in channel islands and have been kayaking for a while and fishing for a while but up until this week havent done both! well first trip out on OK frenzy with my rod and caught a 1lb-2lb ballan wrasse. ill try to post pic as well to see if it all works!! (picture was taken on my phone so excuse the quality! looking into getting waterproof digital cam!!)

Heres my pic of a ballan wrasse (2 3/4lb) from Durley Rocks the other week. Not that big but great sport on light tackle.

Haven't been able to fish for the last couple of days but paddled a couple of miles?down a local estuary today despite the wet weather.My three year old daughter had to tag along and she loved it-despite the wet ,and she walked back up the hill to the car park(simon and yaskalos should know it's a climb for a wee un)

So please indulge a doting dad and enjoy the fishless photo,
