I think I'll try and find a photography course near me.

It's something I have enjoyed for years but not really had the tools to do it.

 

I'm really chuffed with my s7000, can ya tell?:D

Dave, that owl sat still for you mate. !!! Good pics tho .. My Diggy is going off to Newcastle for repair...I miss it already,and its still in the house....being collected by DHL in the morn. !!!!!! :D:D

Nice owl.

Here's a White Throated Kingfisher that I snapped in India earlier this year, using my S7000. The weird thing is, if I take the full resolution image and zoom in enough on the eye, I can see myself reflected in it and holding the camera out.

It looked as if the image uploaded as per the instructions on the "weighting shads" thread, but nothing seems to have happened.

I tried it a second time in edit mode - same problem.
