Well as promised the finished article. Like to see someone fly cast this baby When wet it will probably weigh about 150-200gms Thing is you will be able to jig it with a fly rod for your shark.

 

Sod sharks and fly gear - I can cast that off the beach with my usual gear. At last - a cast iron way not to catch whiting. Dunno about pout, though.

Snatcher, I think you have done marvellously. There will be plenty of movement in it for certain - so should trigger the desired response in anything brought within range.

I now they catch blues off the West of Ireland on fly gear - bring the fish right to the back of the boat then half cast, half hurl the chicken on a hook in front of the bemused shark who is wondering hwre the mackerel he was chasing has just gone - snap. He's on!
