I bought the D400 last week and have to say I'm not over-impressed with the results so far. Guess I'll have to properly read the manual then.....

 

 

I've found that the more you play with them the more you find out what you can try to do, I'm not saying that you'll be able to do it but at least you know what to try. I've been mucking around with ISO and f settings lately. Getting the thing set up for a shot is half the battle. I'm tossing up between the 400D new and a 30D used.

In Londons Whitechapel today folks, weather not so good but I did come across a few interesting opportunities, her are a couple I particularly liked

 

"Martians have arrived"? What a ridiculous structure, to put in the sky line of Whitechapel?

 

Some of the sky lines in London are superb, look though the chimneys and roofs, next thing, I will see Mary Poppins,

 

 

And this one, "Mirror, Mirror on the wall . . . "

 

Made a complete fool of my self, skulking around, laying down, who did I think I was, David Baily (Sir),

 

For those that are interested, the above were taken with my Canon S50 P&S, auto everything. Then cropped the picture in PS.
