Unusual fishing platforms

Mine was on a Trout river fishing trip, and used a dead cow (which was lying in the river) as a platform....did this years ago, and it gives me the shivers when i think what could have happened if it had burst !!!!!!!

In sleep every dog dreams of food, and I, a fisherman, dream of fish..

I work on the rigs and we used to fish from them, if you could keep your tackle from snagging on the legs boy there was some size fish to be had, It got stopped across the north sea as the divers were moaning about terminal tackle snagging on the gear, Ithink it was more to do with the 17 stone of fish getting put on the choppers as freight every week!!

women love me, fish fear me!!

Off the railwaybridge that crossed the Tyne at Wylam. Guess we fished from about 50 feet straight down into the river. It was quite a struggle winding the fish(trout, dace, roach)all the way up on light gear.

Half of the fun used to be racing off the bridge when a train approached cos the line was still active back in the 1960's
