Reporting Poaching

I really dont think anyone would come out unless you pretend they have a gun or knife ,it tends to be left to the landowner to sort out ,the police have it far down the list as a crime ..like most crime!

I found a safe by our pond and dialed the local number in our permit ,turned out to be in devon and didnt have a clue where the pond was unlike cops from farnham ,took 3 days to get back to me ,heaven knows how long if i reported someone dodgy fishing

Quoting 116/11 might just alert the officer that here is an important box to tick.

Its certainly worth trying.- especially if you start by saying you are "reporting an offence under Schedule 1 of the Theft Act"

It would kinda help if they provided some context for quoting 116 /11. What exactly is it? A reference to legislation? An internal memo? A previous crime record?

Good luck

I caught a bloke breaking into cars one night and gave the police a running commentary of his actions for ten minutes as they took details.

FORTY minutes later a patrol car turned up - the offender was long gone, I could of tackled him myself but at what cost?

have you ever called in someone for driving dangerously whilst your driving as well?

the missus and I have had chance to do this twice now and both times they asked us to follow the offending driver, giving a running commentary, until a mobile unit arrived!! the last one took us about 10 miles in the opposite direction to which we wanted to go! LOL
