Will we be next? Dear old Beeb and its 'anti' agenda strikes again, see:-

http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsid_4...900/4689950.stm

We breed fish/animals to catch and sometimes to kill, are we bad too?

Bit of a paradox that one, If they don't breed them who will?

We've always bred animals for food, maybe they think it's more humane in an abbatoir. Have they been in one?

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

i watched a cooking program called 'two hairy bikes' a couple of weeks ago and they were somewhere like namibia (my memory fails me as to exactly where they were) and they were cooking farmed oryx, i was surprised to hear of it being farmed at all.

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Mark Markapian, one of the American 'anti' mouthpieces said 'so the US government is saying it's OK to shoot rare breeds to help them survive'.

Erm, yes... seems like a fair price to pay, and yet more misrepresentation by the 'anti' lobby. The sooner Joe Public wisew up to their lies and misrepresentation the better.

This is a signature, there are many signatures like it but this one is mine

Did you notice that report was aimed at children on newsround. Had a quick look at the main news site and could not find it. I suppose the anti brigade have to start them young when they are most impressionable.

in fairness to newsround, and the bbc, a couple of years ago, i went fox hunting to film a piece for them about the hunt, and it was a balanced non emotive piece, trying to help the viewers make their own mind up. i does annoy me a little when people accuse the bbc of being 'anti' when the truth is they're pretty neutral
