Taking the missus...

I fish from the shore by myself as thats far to boring for the Misses but if I get the Kayak out she wont let me go without her and yes she usually gets more fish than me. She loves it BUT that does mean my Yak fishing is limited to the duration of my misses patience.

 

Swings and roundabouts really, its lovely to spend time together and all that but there are some times when a good 24 hour expedition sounds like so much fun.

I bought my fiance a caper last summer and she loves it. I still manage to get out plenty on my own, but her having one gives me the chance to do loads of extra fishing. For instance she loves adventures, so the suggestion of loading the yaks with snorkelling gear, bbq, tent, bottle of bubbly etc. is her idea of heaven. Obviously I'm not going to leave home without the rods, and once out, she's as keen to get fishing as me.

 

It all boils down to whether you want to spend more or less time with your other half. The idea of my first wife owning a yak makes me shudder with fear!!!!

In my experience, most missus' go pear shaped eventually

"The Missus" is like ur yak.

When u first get them there the best thing ever.

You get them accessories to doll them up abit.

You play about with ur rod with them!

And so on.

 

But the Yak will always out do "The Missus" for one reason.

 

 

U can trade in the yak for a new model any time.

 

Try that with "The Missus" and u'll be in for a life of

In my experience you can trade in your missus just as easily as your yak, it's just far more expensive!

I'm more than happy with the current model though Just hope she doesn't go pear shaped!

hi i definately would take the rod as a couple of week back there was a guy getting macky on the feathers so im guessing with the recent weather there will definately be a couple of fish about.
