Ive got a record from Wayne County and the Electric Chairs, before he became Jane County, its called man enough to be a woman, its amongst some pretty weird punk stuff I collected from the late 1970's. Anyone remember the Pork Dukes (record title too rude for a family friendly forum like this), or the Not Sensibles I'm in love with Margaret Thatcher?

It depends upon your definition of strange!

 

Everyone has their own 'taste' in music. Thus my early recordings of Robert Johnson, Son House and Leadbelly are at odds with Guns and Roses' 'Appetite for Destruction'.

 

In terms of the truly bizarre, I have a copy of Messiaen's 'Turangalila Symphony' featuring the Ondes Martenot - precursor to the synthesiser.

 

That's not exactly accessible music to many ears.

Whatever you've got, there's no doubt that vinyl or cds rate much much higher than anything downloaded or taken of a friends hard drive. we've all got the William Shatner tracks, but did anyone actually buy them? :)
