Well between the referees and Sven's tacticle substitutions we have got no bloody chance. <_<

How come its the refs fault, or Sven's fault? The problem is lack of goals in the back of the Net. I did'nt see many disallowed goals.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

The problem of lack of goals is due to the tactics Sven employed during the second half. You can't score goals if you don't have any players near the oppositions goal.

Four teams in the group, scored just one "own goal" between them.

 

...but don't forget two excellent saves from shots by Lampard, and some really strange refereeing decisions that broke up some promising England moves.

If England loses the ball for every bad decision called against them, how can it not be problematic. As said earlier - no ball, no goals.

 

We're cheering on England, but if it came down to England and the US, we would have to switch allegiances. :bye1:

It's the players how are out there on the pitch not sven. Even though I am a Scot I would love it if Enland could win again. Its been 40 years after all. But if they are going to win, they are going to need to score goals.

 

IMHO if they come up againt Brazil, they have no chance, if another team manages to take out Brazil you might have a hope.

Bring on Brazil.....it was the croates that looked more usefull. Mind its early days in the tournament to judge a team.

keep Roony on the bench till we get through to the next round and we'll be there abouts :yeah:

I've not watched many off the matches, but that Brazil goal was a cracker. Precision shooting, right in the top corner.
