Efgeeco Tackle Boxes & old rubbish.

I tell you what was good about the old style creels, you could empty out the contents and stick them in the water as a table for putting your groundbait bowl on when wading!Cant do that with a plastic box.

Never had an Efgeeco seat/box but have still got my Stephens version and still use it! as anyone at Timsbury would have seen!

In fact a right mixture of gear I had that day! a state of the art carbon trotting rod,a 30 year old centrepin,a 25 year old seat box and the bank sticks/landing net equiped with the new Pro Logic connectors! Best of all worlds, both old and new I reckon.

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

Peter, I think the considered advice is to soak the basket in water for a day or so, and then allow it to drain off.

No Budgie, but you can fill a plastic box up with water!

Take a crafty dump in a whicker basket and you risk splinters and cleaning up later is a pain. No such problems with a plastic box!!

Thanks Den. Had considered that but once dry thought I might be back at square one. Nothing to loose by trying it though. Nice one! Cleaned the pond out yesterday, knew I had a secondary motive for doing it .
